Win This One For My Sister

By: roberto | August 14th, 2009

Tonight for the Trofeo Tim, Juventus takes on Milan and Inter in Pescara (very close to my home town of Fossacesia). Now I didn’t make the trip, but my sister will be in the house for this one. She’ll be wearing a yellow t-shirt holding a big black, red, and white sign reading “Juventina Canadese”. If anyone spots her, shoot off a comment. I’m feverishly jealous right now.

IERI… OGGI… DOMANI… SEMPRE JUVE!!!

Then we better get a good amount of cash for him, alex. If he wants to win titles, he’ll be back at Juve.

if he wanted juve he would of done everything to stay. i really think after he got butchered by totti, dropped then loaned out, it pissed him off and rightly so. its a shame ranieri didnt see his use as a left back i think in a couple of years time he will be one of the top 3 in his position, the same for marchisio

Well he’s got an option, get over it, or look for a move to Milan/Inter or his career is going to be relatively trophyless. Either way, even if he decides to leave, we’ll get a nice chunk of cash.

Inter without a doubt. I’m not Torinese, so that match doesn’t mean too much to me other than the damn Toro are a pain in the ass everytime we play them. Excited to see them go down. Being Barese, Napoli-Juve is always a very special game.

Nah, Criscito will come back to juve alex, that’s my guess. And I wouldn’t even be surprised is he came back next summer (if he continues to go crescendo in his game). He stated that it didn’t matter much to him where he would play this year, as long as he had his chances. But Genoa threw the money on the table and he was almost morally obligated to stay and to repay Genoa for this chance.
But he loves juve just as much and he will be back to prove Ranieri and some others wrong and wing prices. That kid has juve DNA inside his vains; a true winner in black and white.
Plus if he wants to go for an azzurri ride, that is his best option.

Don’t worry Alex, Criscito will be back. He said, and I quote him “that it doesn’t matter where he would play next year: juve or Genoa”. He likes both teams but he wanted a bit more security this year in terms of playing time, which is good; he’s at a crossroads in his career and now he can’t afford to stand still; he needs to keep on improving. He’s not ready for the absolute top level right now, but he will be.
He’s a smart kid and a winner. He loves juve and he will be back to prove Ranieri and some others they were wrong. I’m confident he’ll win some prizes in black and white.
It is simply the best choice if he wants to develop beyond next year and play a role in the azzurri…

is it true we’re moving to get Zaccardo on loan? he’s never really impressed me, but i havent really watched him alot….is this supposed to be good news…and if it’s true about getting Zaccardo, why the hell did they sell Mellberg??

Mellberg supposedly wanted to leave because he didn’t play muc, but I (don’t know why) just think that’s bullshit, just like the Zanetti-story…
On the other hand, Zaccardo is an Italian, a good player, I think he’s better than Mellberg and he can also be placed as a right-back or centre-back.
I see it as good news, since the only reason he would be coming, is a sale of Grygera and I really want to kick his ass out… He’s not worthy of being a juve player.

Then again, what about Caceres? Unless we place him at the centre-back, since that is his natural position.

Anyway, I think it would be a good move selling Grygera and loaning Zaccardo with an option to buy him. Everything is better than Zdenek…

Haha Sofia I love Mourinho’s press conferences, what a pathetic person.

I think Zaccardo is a great option, I don’t think he’s done well in the Bundesliga but he was a good fullback until that fateful moment in Germany destroyed his confidence. (Also uncovered Fabio Grosso)

yeah, same here….i was just nodding my head when i was reading the comments….i guess a 17 year trophyless streak can do that to someone

well, if we get Zaccardo, does that mean we’ll have to offload someone? Grygera? Molinaro? Zebina? who do you think will get the axe?

“i was just nodding my head when i was reading the comments….i guess a 17 year trophyless streak can do that to someone”

Actually it was the Juventus Thought Police that did that to a person.

    The TIM trophy is meaningless.

It is indeed. So is the Trofeo Berlusconi.

HolyMann, I would prefer Zebina to get the axe as he’s older, a jackass, and on a higher salary. But for those 3 reasons I don’t think too many clubs would be interested. Grygera would probably be sold.

“i was talking bout Serie A”

I didn’t read what you meant. Only what you wrote. If you mean the League Championship, then you would be correct.

But then I would say that there is a very good reason it had taken so long.

“but ofcourse you would count the 2005 wouldnt you”

I count it with pride. Why wouldn’t I? If your lot didn’t cheat, you could have counted it yourself.

no i meant 89 – 06….i get confused on how you read the dates, whether to start with the beginning year (88) or the ending year (89)….either way, i think we both understood each other….i know you would count it with pride, and yes you’re right, so would i, but i was implying about the trophy’s (Serie A) you won on the pitch and not the ones handed to you

ok really let’s be serious guys, whatever the years were you have a trophyless streak for a long, long time. And the fact that you count the ‘05 trophy with pride, MAD, just shows how disturbed you really are. If Juve were ever handed a trophy on a silver platter with a little bow on top like Inter were, never would be proud of that. Ever. But that is, I guess, how you and I are different.
