Wasserman does Jonathan

By: alessio | July 10th, 2009

Alright, so it’s utterly mediocre, but so are Zebina’s performances!

“-Jonathan is a virtual unknown within his home country, France, making him an underrated buy!
-Zebina has telekenetic powers”

“Zebina is famous for standing up even against his own teammates, such as brawling with future Juve captain Giorgio Chiellini while playing against his former team, Cagliari.”

“-A lifelong bachelor, Zebina will not take up any valuable club time in doing frivolous things such as getting married.
-Zebina is not selfish, as proven by the fact that he has scored 1 goal in his entire career as a wingback.
-Jonathan is not afraid to defend himself, as shown by him bitch slapping a cameraman after being sent off.”

I’m a bit surprised there’s protests against Zebina, but good god I can understand them. I’ve obviously never liked him, and he comes back after being all season and tells the fans to shut up in the first few games back. Buffon could do that. Nedved could, or of course, Alex. Zebina can’t tell us shit.

It’s just sad that he will be our starting RB. Simply Sad………

Shouldn’t we at least loan a defender for the upcoming season?? I say Trade one of our CMs for CB. We have way too many CMs. They are all in their primes so they must play. I doubt Poulsen, Melo, Tiago, Zanetti, Almiron Marchisio will all have ample playing time.

Weston Ik what you’re talking about. For some reason Juve is terrible in FM. I remember in one of my FM 07 files where I was Bayern, I ended up playing for something like 8-9 years as their manager and by the end of the 8th season Juve got relegated to Serie B… I think it’s one of FM’s mysteries, kinda like how Arse-anal always dominates, while in real life they choke.

Yeah, that too! Arsenal are impossible to beat, especially after they bought anelka and henry out of nowhere… what is up with that??

Ps. In real life, I agree with mouini, marchisio, melo, zanetti, and sissoko all should stay, and with poulsen refusing to leave we need to get rid of tiago and almiron very quickly. Not to mention I want to see freakin’ giovinco in the midfield somewhere… (or upfront; hell, put him at right back over zebina and friends)

In my FM, Arsenal too strong. They bought Ribery and with Adebayor being so overrated, they won the EPL with 110 points, losing only once.

It would be very stupid IMO of we sell Tiago and Poulsen just to get a defender. I really think that Tiago will play very well in this new formation, and knowing our luck with injuries I wouldn’t be surprised if our 3 starting CM’s are all out either suspended or injured at the same time.

I also read that Juve are trying to make a move for Santacroce on loan, with an option to buy….

if marchisio is dropped for tiago, melo and sissoko i hope he moves. what a waste of talent. same as giovinco both of them getting pushed out by brazilians shame on juve

It would be a crime, alex. Marchisio+Zanetti should be starting if healthy, and it’s not because of their nationality. I like the 4-3-1-2 a lot more than 4-2-3-1.

Santacroce would be a great signing but I don’t see Napoli letting him go on loan with a fixed-price. Even if he’s not starting, they know his talent. Shame on Napoli for pushing him out for a mediocre Italian and a young Colombian!

I must say i liek the 4-2-3-1 more, as this will make it possible for both Diego and Giovinco to play together, but for the 2 MC’s, we have to choose between, Marchisio, Melo, and sissoko, its a good problem to have. and who wil be our ONE? Amauri most probably seeing as though hes a complete ST.

iaquinta would score more goals, but amauri would hold the ball up allowing the rest of the team to attack.

you have to have melo and marchisio. sissoko is good at breaking up the play but thats it. melo and marchisio can do everything and i think marchisio showed his true worth at the under 21 championships how many times was he back defending?? melo would of course provide the muscle.

    buffon
    zebina-cannavaro-chiellini-de ceglie
    marchisio-melo
    del piero/camo-diego-giovinco
    amauri/iaquinta

del piero should be used sparingly like in big games or as a sub. to win anything next season giovinco has to play hes amazing and next to diego i cant see any team being able to cope with them
