biggest loss of the season Nedved...... Nedved 37 still better than Poulsen, Tiago. I would trade Nedved for those two
  • agiamba
He wants to wait until December 5th? Like 2+ months? That makes little sense to me.

    Fucking injuries.
  • Jorid
Totally agree with you Roberto. There's also no point in letting Gigi play with a torn meniscus for a few more matches. It will only make matters worse and probably keep him out longer in his rehab phase. Manninger ASAP.
  • I say we throw Manninger in right away. Our defense will have to play much better knowing Gigi isn't there to bail them out. Just like the last time Gigi went down for a while.

what once was....and hopefully, what will be....

Sofia... Give Amauri a bit more credit plz... I remember you giving a backslap to many in here when they were criticising Giovinco. So give Amauri a little more time, and when we start using him, like one should, as a deep striker, then is the time to judge. He always works hard, creates time for the midfielders to infiltrate and when he's in the area more often with Gio or Alex around him, he will deliver.
He can not score goals like Trezeguet or Iaquinta from outside the box, but a few good crosses and he will get off the mark.

That said, I would prefer Trezeguet to start alongside Seba next week, the first really is hungry and I think he is about to find his old form, and the latter... Well, that's obvious, I guess.

    Okay thanks
  • agiamba
Something with the upgrade to the new WordPress, Sam. It'll be fixed eventually.
  • Sam
Where the hell has the italy national team page gone? I cant find it!
  • Sam
haha, I know of threee, C Poulsen, J Poulsen, and S Poulsen. all pretty terrible.
  • agiamba
Ah, thanks for the correction. Who knew there were many Poulsens?
  • we are going to south africa :)
  • Nnahoj
Actually Alessio, it was Jakob Poulsen who scored for Denmark, not our Poulsen.
  • Jorid
    In English:
TUTTOSPORT: Messi yesterday had trouble digesting the paella that he was eating...Because of this, his relationship with Laporta went to hell...When the moment came to start looking for his future club, good old Leo decided to write the names of the most renowned European teams in little stickies and upon mixing them together and drawing a lucky sticky, he discovered that fate wants him to go to Juve. Also Tuttosport, who has the best fortune-teller of all time in their editorial, has predicted that the same fate is awaiting CR9 and Ribery!
  • agiamba
Hahahaha that was good stuff. Paella is delicious, it's too bad Messi won't be around it for long.

Camoranesi and Poulsen score for their national teams.

    Yes, Poulsen. What the fuck!
  • Jorid
Ale I read that too, and I almost broke my ribs laughing soo hard at the comments from ppl making fun of Tuttosport's bullshit. Here's a funny ass one:

TUTTOSPORT: MESSI IERI NN HA DIGERITO TRP LA PAELLA (O COME DIAVOLO SI SCRIVE)....PER QUESTA RAGIONE I SUOI RAPPORTI CON LAPORTA SONO ANDATI A FARSI FOTTERE....AL MOMENTO DELLA SCELTA DELLA FUTURA SOCIETà, IL BUON LEO HA SCRITTO I NOMI DELLE PIU BLASONATE SOCIETà EUROPEE IN DEI BIGLIETTINI KE DOPO ESSERE STATI SORTEGGIATI PROPRIO DA LUI HA SCOPERTO KE IL DESTINO VUOLE KE VADA ALLA JUVE....
IN AGGIUNZIONE TUTTO SPORT, KE IN REDAZIONE HA PURE IL MIGLIOR VEGGENTE D TUTTI I TEMPI, HA GIA PREDETTO KE LA STESSA SORTE COLPIRà I BUON VEKKI C.RONALDO E RIBERY...

J, the reasons behind Nedved retiring are still mucky. He said he wanted to run, but maybe he was being too polite to badmouth the management.

J is right about ADP. He cannot play a full season starting every match, right now he can start once a week and he'll be good. In the second half of last season, he played twice a week often and you could tell it weighed on his performances.

Tuttosport (so it's bullshit, and it's internationals week) is reporting that Dzeko wants to join Juve. Maybe Brazzo can give him a call? :)
  • j
about nedved, i thought the reason why nedved didnt sign was because the contract offered by secco wasnt good enough, maybe is the length or the salary?

anyway, giovinco was playing as left wing right, during his man-of-the-match performance against bologna last season. not sure if i remember correctly, if thats the case then he may have anothe chance in a 4-4-2 formation.
  • behnam
    i love alex delpiero
  • Sofia
ADP has and always will be better than Amauri. I never liked Amauri and was skeptical when we bought him. His "performances" this season have proved my point.
Sign Giuseppe Rossi in Jan/Summer and bench Amauri. Or sell him:)
  • Pablo
What if Amauri changes his number back to 8? Maybe that will solve the problem :p
  • Jorid
j He said himself that he wanted to call it a career and spend more time with his family and his kids. I don't blame him. Idk if there was a contract issue, but I guess we won't know unless something comes out in the future. I really really hope not.
  • j
ADP cant play a full season as starter. he was on fire at the start of the season but sort of fade away like the rest of our team, so i think even with ADP back, our problem is not resolved yet. anyway i m still dont understand why nedved wasnt given a contract last season. if camo, who is old and injury prone gets injured (hopefully not), our midfield face a bit of a creativity drain.
  • Jorid
And of course how could I forget the low shot in the corner against the same wankers?

Ivo he's married lol. Unless he suffers from major ED(even that is curable) or his wife is just a NO-NO type then he is not really applicable for #3. And I beg to differ. Alex Del Piero continues to be the best striker at Juve when healthy. Remember both goals against Real last year? One with a fk, the other was a curling shot from like 20.
  • Ivo
I think Amauri needs three things:

    1. A second striker that will play behind him, ADP or Seba, although I am skeptical Seba will do anything productive.
    2. Someone to be able to cross the ball and put it on his head (man I miss Pavel)
    3. Speaking of head, he looks like can use a great relaxing blow job :)

Get him these three things and he will be back to his best. He is the best striker we have at Juve, we just need to awake the sleeping giant. BOOM!
  • Marco
    Cheers Alessio, cheers mates ....

I am going to make this quick and to the point. I am CERTAIN that our formation will not work with the players that we have. I know alot of you will disagree with me - but this formation can should be used against the south american teams and the spaniards. That is the only time we should should an aerial tactic with two target strikers. The aerial distrupts the flow of the game. The correct formation of a team is one that puts the most amount of star players in their correct positions. We should play with a lone target striker - with two players playing behind the strikers Diego - Gio (ADP) Melo Camo Sissoko (since marchisio is out) and our underachieving defense. This formation brings puts the best players on the field. We would not have to rely on crosses - or free kicks - or even our back to deliver balls into the box to find a head - we could rely of creative player who will open chanels for the lone striker and/or opening and creating spaces for themselves....... i still dont understand how anyone possibly can watch our forwards and have any confidence in them.... i am apologize - it is only my stance. I really understand the dynamics here and if you really want to pin point our weakness it starts from the very top.
  • Giro
I think Amauri needs to be paired up with a creative striker. I think when it is Amuari and Iaquinta/Trez, Amauri is the guy who needs to create rather then being the target man. I think pair him up with ADP/Giovinco and he'll score and score a ton. Just look at his last year in Palermo being paired with Miccoli.
  • Jem
my fingers are crossed in hopes no juventini get injured tomorrow...
  • Sofia
aand now amauri is a synonym for useles....wonderful...
  • agiamba
    Don't forget ADP either...

How the hell did the Azzurrini go down to 8? Was there a massive brawl on the pitch?
  • Sam
In hte space of two weeks, everything has gone wrong! I mean we have lost our best plyaer for a month, and now possible buffon gone! WAT THE HELL!!!
  • Nnahoj
Game just ended...heartbreaking for Italy. Down to 8 men at the end against Hungary's 10. They played great and can go home with their heads held high. It was down to just stupid defensive errors that cost them in the end.
  • hungary 3 italy 2
    nice match..
  • good find Nnahhoj.. interesting match.. just saw two extra time goals
  • j
maybe we cant play trez, iaq, amauri together....got to be ADP/ Diego/ Gio with one of them...
  • truth is, we have three similar strikers, and Ale and Seba who can play off the main man. I don't understand why Ciro doesn't play Seba. And again, Amauri is better in the air. Ciro needs to address his tactics.
