U21 Italy vs. 21 Holland- Tonight!
By: roberto | March 31st, 2009Tonight Casiraghi’s complete Under 21 squad (the one which will be taking part in the European Cup in Sweden next June) will play in Holland . De Ceglie, who is nearing recovery from the injury, will be absent but Pierluigi Casiraghi can count on 3 other bianconeri.

If Claudio Marchisio and Sebastian Giovinco are a point of reference for the team, Lorenzo Ariaudo is in the shoes of the newcomer. After the great performance and the goal scored against Austria last Wednesday, the defender deserved the call-up. The friendly is scheduled for 20:45hrs (live on Rai Tre).
Big ups to those three young bianconeri going out there in Holland tonight. I’ll be watching this game for sure. Wait a minute, shouldn’t it be four counting Criscito? Anyways the rest of the team reads as follows:
Starting: Consigli, Santacroce, Marzoratti, Criscito, Santon, Dessena, Cigarini, Marchisio, Balotelli, Giovinco, Acquafresca.
Bench: Sirigu, Ariaudo, De Silvestri, Ranocchis, Candreva, Morosini, Poli, Di Gennaro.

reckon it could be serious for cigarini?

Maybe alex, Casiraghi subbed on Candreva instantly. Could be serious. The game’s getting heated now this should be a good second half. Screw the England France game. Balotelli is losing his temper and acting like a hardass and Candreva almost got a card for kneeing a man in the head when he was down. Good stuff!

….. and brutal foul by Balotelli
I didn’t call that one. No not at all, yellow card.

i honestly dont see what the fuss is with balotelli. dont rate him that highly at all. hes big and powerful but not much else

when he acts like a punk he loses it for me. but he’s a force for his age that we can’t ignore. like you said alex besides that, not much else.

he reminds me of a young drogba. strong but thats his entire game. the negatives outweigh the positives. looks like mourinho has him cheating as well plus he seems quite greedy. cassano is mental but also cheeky and funny with it, balotelli is a complete twat

Poli in – Balotelli out

i could have sworn that was criscitos second yellow?

I don’t see Criscito going to Napoli, but I don’t see him returning to Juve either. If Genoa makes it to the CL, he’ll certainly stay. Probably same with the Europa League too, which would almost guarentee that he will stay.

Roberto, Gazzetta is reporting Italy’s goal was given to Giovinco.
Yay Super Seba.

If Mario would have stayed in the Match, I’m sure Italy would have won it late.
