He does. It’s scary. And as I said on another site, I feel a bit bad for ragging on Molinaro because even if I think he’s inadequate, he plays his heart out, unlike big-money signings like Tiago who seemingly don’t give a shit. Plus, Ranieri gave a big chance to a young defender. A lot of us would be complaining if he sat on the bench for Zebina as “wasted youth.” He has looked sharp in pre-season, let’s hope he’s learned something from last season.

And Sally, yes, this kind of thing with Trez seemingly happens every season along with the Mauro Camoranesi disappearing act.

dont worry every start to a season will have a common theme, one of the recurring ones is trez will leave juve due to the high cash offered and his inability to do anything other than score and have his critics and halfway through the season his critics will be putting their foot in their mouths and at the end of the season trez will be in the top 3.

im still concerned with our defence, however is it just me or has molinaro improved? i am one of those who wanted him out for this season (no need to state why)

The only negative side of Lippi replacing Donadoni is that it rules Lippi out of the Juve job for the next two years. Although Ranieri’s contract also expires in 2010 and I wouldn’t be surprised if Lippi leads us to a Scudetto and Champions League after his second strait World Cup.

Come on Roberto, if anything Spain did Italy a favor. If Italy won the Euro’s Donadoni would still be in charge. Just imagine Ambrosini playing in the 2010 world cup.

Plus we got to see Chiellini prove that he is yet again the real deal when it comes to the big games.
