Three and Counting…
By: roberto | January 19th, 2009“The race is still long but we managed to gain a point with respect to Inter. Next Saturday we play against Fiorentina and then after that the next and the next. The team is united and you can tell even from the dressing room” said President Coboli Gigli. “After momentary uncertainties at the start of the championship we managed to get back on track. Last year January was a very difficult month. This year we managed to get back in the right manner. Perhaps to stay in Turin this year was a clever one”.

“Perhaps to stay in Turin this year was a clever one.”
What is that supposed to mean?

This means that the team stayed at Vinovo and trained hard!!

Last year they held their winter training camp on the small Mediterranean island of Malta. I couldn’t have liked the idea of staying in Vinovo this year more. You’re playing in the cold after the break anyways, why wouldn’t you want your team familiarized with the weather, pitch condition, etc.? Not to mention the strong character it builds.

Malta! I’m Maltese
. I remember Valletta beat Juve in a friendly on penalties last year. My friends often mention it since…well…Valletta suck in comparison to Juve
. It’s no wonder last January was hard for Juve, the training facilities in Malta suck! (Not that I know much about them)Posted from

I don’t want Chelski to keep miserably losing, I don’t want a rebound win for them against us alla Real Madrid. Speaking of Real…Calderon out, Schuster out, it makes me proud to know we were an important part of that.

Anyone a bit worried about what kind of 11 we are going to be able to put on the field with the suspensions/injuries and now some players have the flu??

its going to be a tough game if all those players are out. although it does mean that molinaro and sissoko are out meaning de ceglie and marchisio start so every cloud has a silver lining! and finally secco has a bit of sense in that he is after marco motta and gaetano d’agostino from udinese. a backline of de ceglie, chiellini, legrottaglie and motta could be very good. and ive heard d’agostino is quality passer as well and has a cracking shot on him so im hoping to see him and marchisio in the centre. juve is going old school soon you will have 9 italians in the starting 11 like the old days!
