I’m not a big fan of giving up penalties to non-official takers. Iaquinta took penalties at Udinese, but he nearly missed Sunday’s didn’t he?

As Al said, Alex e’ un signore fuori e dentro il campo. Loved seeing him give Iaquinta the penalty, he earned it and he was in a bit of a goal drought, maybe it will give some confidence. Alex could have padded his numbers, but he’s a classy guy.

His reliance on the old, so I guess De Ceglie, Ekdal, Sissoko and Molinaro are almost retiring…

I’m not sure why Giovinco’s not getting playing time, but at least we’re using this time to rebuild Tiago’s confidence. I’ll put it this way, too. A certain legend who just turned 34 today played 11 games in his 1st season with Juve, with 7 of them being substitutions. Giovinco has played 5 thus far. He’s not wasting his talent on the bench and he’s not leaving. Seba will get his chances, we just all need to be patient.

why does Giovinco not get the start?
against chievo, he should be getting playing time. i don’t understand it, I still don’t like Ranieri’s managing, his reliance on the old is disheartening.
