the Serie A journey has started!

Training in PinzoloWe’re here people! All of our frustrations are over and doubts about what the new juve will look like are over. Our heavyweights have all stayed including Trezeguet, Del Piero, Buffon, Camoranesi, Tachinnardi and Nedved. I am especially happy about Nedved. Staying with us for another year and getting a proper send off for the man who came into replace the great Zizou. I read a commentary I thought was very good that said it would be ideal to keep Nedved this season and next year when we qualify for Champions League we can buy a suitable replacement. This is the plan we are looking for.

Today the team showed up for their 3rd pre-season training session and I have to say I am very happy with the team we have put together. Sure we had a rough time and it was a big soap opera but the greatest things in life are that way. So we have a great and proven backbone Del Piero, Nedved, Camoranesi, Trezeguet and the greatest goalkeeper Buffon. Other experienced and great players are Salihamidzic, Iaquinta, Andrade, Grygera, Almiron, Tiago, Chiellini (I’ll include him here because he has already proven himself) and Blasi. These players have all proven themselves in the European stage and with their teams. Then we have very interesting youngsters in all field positions including Palladino as an excellent dangerous attacker, Marchisio as a great alternative to Tiago, Almiron and Giannichedda and finally Criscito who I’d hate to see go back to Genoa.

So we have the perfect mix of experience, young players and talent. My main concern is cohesiveness between the team but Ranieri impressed me by asking players to put on their boots instead of their tennis shoes so they could learn to identify as a team. Our team has the best squad in terms of names in comparison to every team that isn’t Inter and Milan but we sure beat the rest. Roma play beautiful football and function really well so I expect that to be the most beautiful game this season. The defense is in great shape with Portugal’s captain Andrade and Grygera in the center. With Chiellini on the left flank and Molinaro on the right. I know you might be a little skeptical about this one but remember that Zambrotta started out the same exact way.

We will be the most dangerous team this season and I believe we will either surprise in 2nd place or maybe 3rd. Expect beautiful soccer and give the team some time we will be proud next season.

And we did not settle for Andrade he is an excellent defender I can guarantee that, as my roommate is a Deportivo fan. Expect one more signing but not a big one though and probably a central defender.

How do you think next years games will end?

Juve-Roma
Juve-Inter
Juve-Milan
Juve-Napoli

Away games also.

Have a great weekend and if you can catch the Copa America final you will see beautiful plays by Robinho and especially Messi.

Juve-Roma… What a game!!!! in a perfect world i would want to see Marchisio v Aquilani, Molinaro v rosi, del piero v totti. This season we are very much like roma with young italian kids as well as some older experienced quality… impossible to pick this game.

Juve-Inter… Juve because i hate inter with a passion.

Juve-Milan…. another great game, i would love to see juve win this game but i think milan might have a bit too much team cohesiveness and out new defence might not be ready for a kaka/ronaldo. but they have an ageing defence so who knows.

Juve-Napoli… we made better signings so far, so its juve in this one.

juve-inter will be juve for a couple reasons :

    1. i hate inter i hate inter i hate inter i hate inter…no need to continue ther
    2. because juve hate inter soooooo much that they just want revenge and are gonna play like they want to win just to be able to throw it in ibra’s face and be like yeah u shit:)
and the rest of the games all juve because i have great faith in this team and is friggn juve and we are winners:D

I think cannavaro is coming back Schuster dosint want to hold on to him i think juve should make the swoop cause if he stays at the white house hes gona be on the bench and we all know he dosint want that.

I think Meira will complete our defense and i believe that he will join juve because juve will bring him into another world of football tiago was convinced i think he could help our cause too.

For me just two things will make me ecstatic at the end of the season: a top four finish (and a return to the UCL), and a home-away victory over the bloody Interisti.

    FORZA JUVE!
