The Grim Keeper gets a Little Older

By: alessio | June 30th, 2009

It’s time for yet another birthday at Juventus. This time it is Antonio Chimenti’s turn to celebrate. The goalkeeper from Puglia turned 39 and is about to embark on yet another season as a professional, the 6th for Juventus.

Best wishes from all the Juventus supporters go to Antonio.

Ha! He is 2 1/2 years younger than our head coach.

Sweetened the deal with Udinese for Manninger last summer…why don’t we take him on loan again to sweeten the deal with D’Agostino!

I’m sure Chimienti is still a competant keeper. I’d be happy to have him as third option.

No way. I rather Pinsoglio. Hell, I rather Vanstratten.

Yeahhh, go the Aussie, i saw Vanstratten play when he came to Melbourne with Juve. He was keeper, and seemed half decent but… i would still rather the timothy Nocchi and Pinsoglio

He’s not really competent, but his salary must be wicked low, and everyone on the team knows him and likes him. I don’t mind having him around as a locker room influence.
