Anyone else notice that Inter played on Saturday, and now in the midweek round they’ll be playing on Thursday? Anyone else remembers how they all shat themselves in rage when last month we had a similar schedule? I wonder why they (or us for that matter) aren’t crying favouritism this time around…

yea, thx cobolli, and hopefully the future is bright with blanc.

anyway, i read about the capello post, he did mess up a few things but at least we got 2 scudetti from his era, for that i will spare him, for now anyway.

deschamps left because of conflict with the board right? is it their interference of team policy or finacial demands, etc? ranieri didnt seem like a step up for me at that time.

all the best to the team against sampdoria, a convincing win should kick off our season, but i’ll take 3 points for now.

You’re right, Lee. There have been two non-Italian presidents previous, my mistake. The first was Alfred Dick who later left Juve and founded Torino, and then in the 1910s a coach named Giuseppe Hess, both were Swiss.

Jose, I doubt he’ll play but I suppose how much could it hurt?!

Agreed with all that Deschamps should have stayed for Serie A. Ranieri did an “ok” job at Juve, but Deschamps is bianconero, had experience coaching the team already, and he had a lot more coaching experience than Ferrara, having led Monaco to a CL final.

The very fact that we conducted a brilliant mercato, and are still registering a profit, proves Gigli’s brilliance. Compared to the debt ridden english clubs and that joke at Madrid, not to mention the milan twins, it is a veritable financial miracle.
