Giovinco was a pest defensively...unless Diego is seriously hurt, there's noway Seba pushes him out of the lineup. Maybe Camo makes way for him though....

melo-tiago-marchisio. sissoko will only hinder the team, he will be a good backup player

diego should play behind the front two of amauri with giovinco to the left of him

I'll have a post up in a bit, but a good win, and I was right with my prediction. :)

with tiago and marchisio really coming to the fore, what will be the ultimate combination in midfield when momo returns?

Cheers to Ferrara.. what a change from the Ranieri era where we would have been content to play for the draw. Hopefully this will get Caceres and Trez both pumped up... it was not the easiest of circumstances, away against a good Lazio team. We actually managed to take an injury to our main offensive weapon, Diego on the chin and still push for the win. This TEAM has got steel.
Giovinco needs to start more though, and polish his game against the lower table sides. He keeps drifting to the left. And Tiago has been ignited this season. He should start before Camo IMHO.
All our signings are starting to pay off. My man of the match is Felipe Melo. He looks so happy when we score.

Not particularly happy with the way we played today. We really didnt create very much offensively. Once again Gio came in and picked up the temp - even played pretty decent defense. The big thing that stood out to me was both Caceres and Grosso pushed up high making the attack more compound. We did it a less regularly on the right side, but on the left we had some pretty good chances swung in. Grosso didnt exactly impress me with his crosses either - i have followed him for a long time now and know that he has quality deliveries.. not so much to besides one or two.

The team showed some good character and some good fight. Melo played a very good game. I think he holds on to the ball for a dribble to much most of the time = but i think that sort of instinct will grow on him.

.... ps.... I just dont think Camo has it anymore! i think he is pretty ruthless. I dont think his cut for the national team either. His performances havent even come close to the form that he once had. Am i wrong ?

i've seen Bordeaux play in Montreal this summer for the French cup final, aside for Gourcuff I was not impressed, but again, it was only summer soccer
