Recapping the Season

It’s your voice, people. The Juventus Offside is proud to participate in the democratic tradition, which consists of voting for your opinions, which ultimately is completely irrelevant. In such a spirit, we’ve drawn up a few awards that we will be discussing on the podcast, but I’d like to open it up to you, the people, to express your opinions. If you feel like answering some but not others, have at it. If you’re a trooper and slog through the whole thing, you are a champion. Awards after the jump!

    Hi, where is the podcast?

  • Jen

any news on the podcast gents????

    forza juve

  • I added yesterday the full interview of Andrea ... he talks about all things.. everything really...

The saddest thing that I got from this interview is this:
....Tuesday Juve has intervened for the first time officially in the process of Naples. Someone wrote that the club has forgot Moggi. More the opposite. What is your position on Calciopoli?

"The lawyer Giuseppe Vitiello said things absolutely clear from the legal point of view and also factual.
In brief: the charges are unfounded. If anything should arise criminal conduct would be attributed to Moggi personally. And still we believe that these facts do not exist. "

...this means that officially that very young lad, that was in the early 90's going brace to brace with Don Luciano, has bitten the hand that feed him for many years!

You would say that maybe I exaggerate but really I don't ... imagine this ..and it won't be hard...

You for many years learn from your teacher which becomes over time your mentor ... you basically you learn the many things that you know now about football from him!

And when it comes that time when you have to let's say return a favor and say maybe a good word about your teacher... you basically you throw him away like a broken tooth!

Andrea you have all my consideration for the fact that you are a true juventino...but... this is not the way you do things.. there will be a time maybe when you will be old...and all the dogs will come after your ass... then you maybe will need some shoulder to rely on!

Shame on you Andrea! There is no more Respect from the Old school!

    everybody is on his own!

  • you guys you don't know me.. maybe you will who knows?

but what i can tell you is this....

I have a dream.. I have a dream that Juventus will become the Juventus that I was raised with... the same team that has given to World football, Il divin codino, Pinturicchio and Zizou and then Nedved ...

I believe this that Juventus will be back on her Throne! we just have to be patient! and as somebody said we now have Pazienza!

The idea is one! and one only! as long as we are the strongest community of fans for a Serie A team, which BTW is not winning anything for the last 5 years. we are safe and our Juventus is safe also!

    We can all sleep relaxed!

good night Juventus community! catch you up tomorrow!

  • Juve offer €15m for Vidal
    Source: http://www.football-italia.net...

Juventus have reportedly leapt ahead of Napoli and Milan by offering €15m for Bayer Leverkusen star Arturo Vidal. The Chile international midfielder scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga this season and has already been linked with several Serie A sides this summer.

Milan and Napoli confirmed negotiations, but this evening Chilean sources claim Vidal’s agents met with Juve directors. An offer of €15m is on the table to prise him away from Bayer Leverkusen.

“We do have a Plan B around Vidal, as we are already looking for his replacement,” conceded director of sport Rudi Voller. “We have also decided to wait on the offers that have arrived, hoping Vidal can have a great Copa America with Chile so his price-tag can rise further.”
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone has seen him play? Who is this guy? Looks like I'll be watching ALL of Argentina and Chile matches come Copa America (and a few of Brazil's games, too. Wanna watch Neymar and Ganso).

  • wali_100

he is a good player. Bayern Munich want him.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

  • Yea I heard Bayern were in the front seat to get him, but I guess now we're in the deal too then. I heard he's pretty solid, ZonalMarking's articles on Leverkusen games always had positive reports about him, so I think he's pretty good.

    He's a winger (I think) btw.

  • wali_100

Real madrid are going to sell Kaka... this Summer. I wont mind having him on my team. at age of 29... he is still world class.

  • Decky

I don't think he would come for under 30 million and I wouldn't pay that for him anymore. In my opinion, his career is declining

  • Somnath_Sengupta

I wont mind dating Megan Fox either..

  • wali_100

she is married...plus she doesnt watch football. so you are screwed big time.

  • Rinaldo2882

I don't think he'd mind being screwed big time (by Megan Fox).

  • Somnath_Sengupta

    Precisely :P

  • T'is but a man without a soul who would mind.

  • I don't mind, either but the transfer budget definitely will.

  • Rinaldo2882

Wow...Aguero close to Juve?! That's as crazy as Maradona leaving Barcelona for a mid-table Napoli!

  • Instant Classic.

i think agiamba will release new article after 1000 comments.

Juve 'agree Aguero personal terms'There are reports Juventus have agreed personal terms with Sergio Aguero, but still need to convince Atletico Madrid.According to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are making strong steps forward in their bid to sign the Argentina international. It’s claimed they have agreed personal terms with ‘Kun,’ convincing him of the move to Turin despite their failure to qualify for Europe.Juve could be favoured by the fact the other main contenders are Real Madrid, the bitter rivals of Atletico.“We have to plan for next season and understand if we can count on him or not,” director Jose Luis Perez Caminero told Marca.“The first club that reaches the buy-out clause can have Aguero. Excluding Real Madrid.”There are still issues, though, as so far Juventus have offered only €35m rather than the €45m stipulated in his contract.Source: Football-italia.

    Sounds sweet aaaeee? :)

  • amirnyc

    i feel weird :D
35 and not a cent more? woohoo!

  • amirnyc

if this is true and the player want to come
fuckin' atletico would have to negotiate i.e. forget about the 45mil price tag
football is not slavery - if he wants to leave and accepted terms then it's as good as DONE

  • Desin_nr1

lets keep our fingers crossed.. its going to be such a huge improvement that I find it hard just to imagine how

  • ShakeAppeal

We have apparently agreed personal terms with Aguero...

  • wali_100

sky italia.....not the best source....but I will believe it when I see him in Turin.. for Medical check up

  • Sampath

sky italia is actually one of the better sources.

  • FrancescoJuve

Well what do we have here? Agreed to terms with Aguero according to SKY Italia. Atletico seems unwilling to budge, but Marotta can't dangle this in front of us without finishing the deal, right?
