Re, Caption This: I’ll try again, I don’t think I picked very good pictures. If you’d like to give this weeks a try, check the other day’s post here. I’ll still post the winners from yesterday and then today’s whenever the next Caption This post comes up.

This is the best news ever. Hope this would really happen:
http://goal.com/en/news/9/england/2009/08/04/1422071/liverpool-close-in-on-juventus-midfielder-christian-poulsen.juve would let him go even for 5 mil.

Fleece them a bit! It’d be great if we could recoup his price.
In all seriousness, Rafa makes terrible signings and overpays all the time, he might actually go for him.

“When I was at Juve, I asked Ferrara and Paolo Montero to train the defence for half an hour while I worked on the midfield and attack”.
Wow. Ciro should ask Paolo Montero to join his coaching staff

Side note, though Secco did overpay for Felipe Melo…think about this. 65mil for Kaka, 80mil for CR9, 20mil for Aquilani, 35mil for Xabi Alonso, did we get a deal for Diego or what? We paid a reasonable amount for him, I could easily see him going for 35-40mil otherwise.

And another side note, I just wanted to thanks to all of you, our loyal readers for continuing to check in. In July, the Juve Offside was in the top 5 of all the Offside pages, and 3rd in Serie A behind the Roma and Italy Offside pages. Thanks again, and keep reading…we have an exciting season ahead of us.

Maybe Huntelaar will have teeth problems (like Cissokho) or some other imaginary problem!

Anyone know what time the Villarreal friendly is tomorrow? Tomorrow is my anniversary with my girlfriend, and I would like to know how to schedule our lunch or dinner so that I can see the game.
