Secco confirmed interest in D’Agostino and said Criscito will likely be coming back. He said Tiago and Camoranesi are not for sale but Marchionni could leave. All hints towards a wingless 4-3-1-2.

giovinco can play anywhere across the frontline. to the left of iaquinta with diego behind them? of course it would work! he can attack down both flanks creating space for iaquinta and diego who can both finish really well. giovincos pace next season is key

@alex: But where would Giovinco fit in the setup? Second striker? I guess he is more suited behind the two strikers. If Ferrara sets his mind on that, then there is more benchwarming for him. Otherwise, 4-3-2-1 is also an option.

i think even if we sell trezeguet, i dont see the need to buy another stricker, if Del Piero/Amauri/Iaquinta are all fit, a 4-3-1-2 would be perfect rotating them around, and if injuries and fitness become a concern, the squad can easily play with a 4-3-2-1. i just hope Secco invests on defense this year, other than a CD.

BTW, does anyone know when the schedule for next years season will be out?

buffon, chiellini, marchisio, giovinco and iaquinta have to be starters next season. that is an unbelievable spine for a team, they are italian and even more importantly they are juventino. del piero has lost his pace and you could tell for most of last season he cant play as much as he did. he should be used sparingly as a super sub

Grygera(?)-Cannavaro-Chiellini-Molinaro(?)
D’Agostino-Sissoko-Marchisio
Diego/Giovinco
Del Piero-Amauri/Iaquinta

I would prefer buying both fullbacks. Or give De Ceglie half a season of chance. I know he has shined more on the left midfield position but that is out of question in the 4-3-1-2 setup. So first priority should be to buy a quality full(right)back and then look for backups for each position.
