nope. don't come back. he turned his back on the club during rough times. the juve faithful stuck by them(much love)and now our rise to the top has commenced(or resumed?)la vecchia signora til i die(at least that's what my tattoo says!) :-D

jasperaldo, it's clear Juventus fans are not racist, but were using it to try and get under his skin. It's still completely wrong, but the ban is a bit excessive when similar things have happened and teams have only received fines.

Balotelli might be shit, but racist chants are not justificable at all. That's my opinion at least.
  • what do you guys think about the racist chants during juve - inter?

    Balotelli is shit imo.

the reason cannavaro has struggled in real madrid is because in spain the dont believe in defensive midfielders. apart from barcelona. anyway with sissoko in front of him it will be like having 3 men protecting the back 4! 3 men that are utterly shit at passng mind you and will give away sloppy fouls as they cant actually tackle properly

The only thing thats making Cannavaro look good in Real Madrid is Pepe. Seriously, Cannavaros best days are so behind him but he could be a good backup.

Isnt Milan a more suitable team for Cann? They are looking for a defender arent they? They already have Zambro so I think it would make sense.

Most people on this blog have probably already seen this, but Goal.com recently put up this article arguing that Cannavaro would be a good signing for us next summer. I think they have an undeniable point in that if he were to play for us, Cannavaro would be re-creating part of the Italia backline in his partnership with Buffon and Chiellini. In my mind this makes Cannavaro a pretty attractive option, especially as we'd be signing him on the free with (hopefully) another world-class defender. Also, the younger players could certainly learn a lot from him..

  • have you heard that we have to play the lecce game behind closed doors b/c of a racist chant aimed at Balotelli?

Awesome. I was looking throughout Italy for an INTER MERDA or some variation scarf but couldn't find one...plenty of Roma/Lazio merda ones in Rome, but that was about it.

I would consider taking him back if he made some sort of a public apology, a massive paycut, and did not start for Juve. Legro-Chiellini have earned it.
  • So many possible captions here, I just love this pic. I know the game, along with our scudetto hopes, are dusted but I had to throw this up.

Continuing on with the Cannavaro debate:

Can anyone doubt the fact that our stellar performances against Madrid this year helped plant the seeds of a return in Paolo's head? I don't. I think he was jealous of our old guards (Buff, Trez, Camo, ADP, etc.) after those two fixtures. That said though, if he takes a pay-cut I'll see it as a sign of respect towards our club and our plan to rebuild around youth, and then I'll galdly take him back.
