Well with Nedved playing the full 90 against Palermo this weekend, i really think Giovinco NEEDS to start. Nedved will simply be worn out, he’s too old to be playing 2 games in such a short amount of time. And yea, i think Tiago would do great against Chelsea on pure motivation alone, but Marchisio is simply better. He fits into the Juve lineup better, plus has better individual skill, and on top of that Tiago played most, if not the whole game against Palermo so i dont think giving him another game to play the full 90 would be a great idea. If we play a 4-4-2, it needs to be Marchisio in the middle with Sissoko and Giovinco and Camoranesi on the wings.

Momo is a BEAST!

As much as I love Marchisio I think we should play Tiago in the middle with Sissoko on Wed. Obviously, he has more experience which will be invaluable to such a big match, he’ll be motivated to play well against his former club, and if Ranieri chose him to start I think it would boost his confidence and he wouldn’t disappoint.

As for Giovinco, I wish Ranieri would start him too but I doubt he’ll get the nod.

To Sam –

Why dont you think the 4-3-1-2 is the best for us? This way we can play two midfield wingers (Camo and Giovinco/Nedved) on the sides of Sissoko, our best defensive midfielder, with Del Piero in his natural trequartista position in front of them and two big strikers (Amauri and Trezeguet) in front of him. This would be the best formation for Juve in my opinion.

na i dont think 4-3-1-2 is the line up for us. but yeha tiago and marchisio gud def play together, but sissoko is needed i reckon he is great despite all his flaws, he is really needed in out team!

Yea Tiago is definitely improving, but like you said, Marchisio is better. The goal Claudio scored against Fiorentina was amazing. Though you could play them both at once, for example with a 4-3-1-2 lineup, though it wouldnt be the starting lineup (which should be Camo-Sissoko-Nedved), you could use a Tiago-Marchisio-Giovinco lineup too, though it would be a fight between Marchionni and Tiago for that, and Poulsen might want to be in too…

It is juts me or is tiago actually improving? He has been playig great for portugal, and now he is doing well, but in my opinion, machesio should start with sissoko, marchisio can do everytihn have u seen his dribbling preety frikin gud.

I was impressed today. Ranieri used a 4-3-1-2 position, even if Nedved isnt normally that kind of playmaker right behind the strikers. I think Giovinco shouldve started, this way Nedved would be fresh against Chelsea, but it’s okay, now we should just play Giovinco on the left against Chelsea. And i was happy to see Trez and Amauri working well together, they scored after only playing together for like 8 minutes, very impressive also considering that Amauri seemed like he really wasnt trying much. Sissoko, Chiellini, and Buffon really stood out today for me. They had great matches. Our inpenetrable defense is back! Now, we have to play against Chelsea like this, again with the 4-3-1-2 formation.

Nedved or Giovinco is normally a tough choice, but i think with Nedved playing the full 90 today, it’s obvious we should start Giovinco against Chelsea, though i would sub Nedved in for him late in the game, as well as putting in Marchisio (who i consider our best young talent, but with the performance Sissoko gave today how can you not start him?) and maybe Tiago.
