man, the beginning of that game, you guys were really pounding our right side. those 3 DMs did what you would expect, dominated the midfield, and i was really worried.

you shouldn't worry about 5-0. genoa this year is a pretender. constructing two completely different cinderella teams in two consecutive years is nigh on impossible, and i wouldn't be surprised if genoa missed out on a uefa cup spot.

Marco, how can you call for Trez and Iaquinta to be sold yet not Amauri? Today was his 2nd goal in fucking 10 months, that is ridiculous. Trez I believe is nearing back to his best, if he plays as a starter the next few games I think we'll see it. Iaquinta is a good striker but as you said is profligate in front of goal, but should not be sold. (He has 10 goals in 13 CL games, and 23/57 in the campionato. That's good)

We have all the solutions- Once ADP comes back things will get better, if Trez starts, things will get better, same if Gio gets a chance as seconda punta. What is clear, is we cannot field 2 prima puntas, it just is not working. If our strikers are scoring 1 in 5, we need to create 10 chances then. Right now it should be like this-

Diego
Gio Trez

Iaquinta as a first sub, Amauri as a reserve.

sounds like you guys need some cheering up, well perhaps you can find some solace in the this goal, it is unique in that I think it is the only goal ever scored by a beach ball, enjoy

no not yet ale, dont worry Im not THAT naive that I would expect us to thrash dynamo next week. Quite the opposite actually. Considering how last year we played well in the campionato and played like utter shit in the CL I am pretty cautious about this match with dynamo, last year we dominated you guys and then lost humiliatingly to pana, we thrashed roma 4-0 and then we could only beat anorthosis by a gol, and we also eased past lazio 3-0 but then lost and played like shit in the CL again when we played against Bremen. I am a bit more optimistic this time as we thrashed one of the best teams in italy with some of our key players out injured so I just wonder how we will play when we get milito and eto'o back. One thing is for sure they definitely score goals than your pathetic amauri-iaquinta partnership. Wow congrats Amauri you scored a goal, or actually congrats on not scoring one since february!!!! What a waste of money that player was.

Ciao,

To my fellow Juventus fans,

I am biting my tongue for a lack of a better word, but over the last few games it should have become apparent to you just like it has me that 1. Our offense and of any killer instinct on their behalf has dwindled any chance of us competing for the Scuddetto and the Champions League. 2. Ferrera has miles to go before he deserves our praises. He has puzzeled pundits and fans on his substitutions in this game and the previous one, and honestly he played for a draw in our home field with ten (10) minutes left to play today.
3. Our lack of cohesion on the field illustrates a lack of chemistry in the locker room. FULL STOP.
4. It should be very clear that Gio stands no chance to feature in our line up and for the SAKE of the AZZURI and the future of the Azzuri we should sell him, trade, him or loan because be are belittling him (no pun intended) and we are defalting his confidence putting him on the bench.

so, how do we fix this -

well i dont have the anwsers but like i have harped over in the past posts, we dont have the quality on top. We cant hold the ball in the attacking third, we dont have one FUCKING striker who is ready to lead this club back into dominance. With this said, Iaquinta, and Trez should be sold. Iaquinta is our "on form" striker but can only put in one goal in 15 chances, whereas a quality striker would have put in five maybe six of those goals. We could get the most amount of money for him NOW (Zenit) Trez should defintely go - sell him to anyone that will take him. I would put Amauri in the same category but out of those two he is king by a long long shot. I live and die Juventus, and espically those players that stayed loyal to the Old Lady in our regualtion days, but we can not be anchored by loyalty. This is a buisness and these guys can be sold and replaced by WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY better players. The root of all our evils in concentrated on our front and they have soarly hurt the team. Most of the critism is aimed at our defense. Not warranted besides the fact that we still dont know how to cross a ball. I have yet to see one quality ball played into our forwards in many many minutes and oppertunities. Our defense is not considered the BEST in the world but they are all quality and we have most of our depth in those positions. The middle we have the steel of Melo - Sissoko - and Poulson (who played another quality game) We have Camo (who thank god is our number one on form guy right now - hands down)Diego, Marchiso, and Tiago - pretty decent if we can all stay healthy and then our catastrophe of a front line. Del Piero in his old age would step in with an injury and would be leading this team in goals if he could. I am embarressed, and am hurting seeing my team play so frigid, and frail. I believe very much in them - Alessio - you should do a blog on what forwards are out there in the mercato and who will should be bought. Or, who we need to offload because all of the aforemtioned will happen.

Highlights-

I think the highlights support what I'm saying pretty well. We had 65% possession or so, and had 4-5 golden chances. Fiorentina had 2. We just are having trouble finishing and it's fucking us over.

Missed the game because of work, but I guess I should be glad I didn't miss much. This next week Ciro and the team will need to prove everyone wrong and show that Juve is not losing it. First Maccabi and then Siena. If 5-6 goals are not scored...Glad to hear about your recovery Ale.

1) Depends on what you're talking about. De Ceglie can cross excellently, which is what we were really going for.
2) True, but that's not ceteris parabus and you could say it was because the 3-man midfield had fatigued considerably by that point.
