Juventus Payroll as of Summer 2009
By: alessio | July 14th, 2009Since Juve’s transfer market is just making me more and more angry about the upcoming season, I’ll start with a little diversion. I’m posting Juve’s payroll as of now. The base of this is a Gazzetta article from two years ago, combined with me wasting time hunting down news about renewals and extensions to update it to today.
The contract end date is listed first, and then the salary. The contract end dates are all completely official, the salaries marked with (est.) means their estimated salary based on rumors and my personal guess, all others had mostly-official sources. (Gazzetta, Tuttosport, Juve financial documents…there are no Goal.com or TribalFootball sources) Enjoy-
Juventus: €55.6million total
2014- Diego: €3.5 million
2014- Marchisio: €1 million
2013- Buffon: €5 million
2013- Iaquinta: (est)€3 million
2013- Sissoko: €2.5 million
2013- Chiellini: €2 million
2013- Molinaro : €1.5 million
2013- Giovinco: €1 million
2013- De Ceglie: €450,000
2012- Amauri: €3.7 million
2012- Poulsen: €3 million
2012- Tiago: €2.6 million
2012- Grygera: €1.8 million
2012- Almiron: €1.7 million
2012- Manninger: (est.) €750,000
2011- Trezeguet: €4.5 million
2011- Camoranesi: €3 million
2011- Zebina: €2.5 million
2011- Salihamidzic: €2 million
2011- Legrottaglie: €1.5 million
2010- Del Piero: €3.5 million
2010- Cannavaro: (est.)€2.7million
2010- Zanetti: €2.4 million
I would guess Ferrara is on about €1 million a year or so as well, Ranieri was paid €1.5million a year.
Major differences from September 2007 include renewals for Camoranesi, Buffon, Chiellini, Marchisio, De Ceglie, Molinaro, Giovinco, Legrottaglie, and Sissoko. Of departures, Nedved had a wage of about €3.8mil, Boumsong had €2.5mil, Andrade had €2mil, and Olivera and Birindelli were at €1mil each.
Who is overpaid, who is underpaid, and who’s contract needs to be extended?

De Ceglie should definately earn a payrise and Manninger should break the 1M mark for covering Buffon last season as well.

Del Piero makes less then Trez and Amauri?? That’s very surprising.

I think Ferrera makes 600,000 euros a year.

That wouldn’t surprise me, adam.
Johonna, ohhhhhhhh don’t I wish I had a job! Inter is all yours though.
HBW, Del Piero signed a 2-year extension in October 2007 that progressively decreases his salary. It was 4.5mil before, then for last season I think it dropped to 4mil, now 3.5mil. He does keep most of his image rights I believe though.
Zebina signed a 2-year extension in September 07. Why, oh why did we offer him one right after returning to Serie A? Hasty move if there ever was one, his contract would be expiring this summer!

Ps. We shouldn’t complain to much about not having a right back because we’ll end up with knezvic’s brother on loan.

I feel pretty positive about next season I think our signings so far have been very good and the midfield in particular is looking strong.

Can some1 explain to me why did juve pay 20 or 27M for Melo? I honestly don’t get it, i personally wouldn’t even give 10 for him yet they overpaid the guy. They must be seeing something that im not.
Now to the other thing that bugs me is where will Giovinco play? 451? 4132? i don’t get it.
Nice site btw, just discovered it a couple of days ago. GJPosted from

For a non-international, Amauri makes a lot of money.

I liked seeing the youngsters play today. Does someone know of a website where I can get streams for Juve matches in general? I would be eternally grateful if you let me know of such a link. The stupid United States does not show football. I pay for FSC and ESPN CL once every year, but I need my Juve fix on a regular basis in the football-god-forsaken country.

ADHTE.net, rojadirecto.com, or myp2p.eu in general, Ivo.
