GOAL.com ratings:

Juventus:

Buffon 8.0 Bailed his side out on a number of occasions with a string of commanding saves. Took no chances with a slippery ball on corners and free-kicks, opting to punch instead.

Caceres 6.5 Capable of fine deliveries at the attacking end but struggled in his defensive duties when Bordeaux overloaded the left side with Tremoulinas and Wendel.

Legrottaglie 6.5 Tidy distribution to his midfield colleagues and was on hand with some crucial blocks and interceptions.

Cannavaro 7.5 Displayed his usual relish in his challenges before being forced off with an injury. Provided a top-rate through-ball for Iaquinta's goal and shackled Chamakh.

Grosso 5.0 Exposed by Bordeaux from a defensive standpoint. He was bypassed from the first minute until last. Contributed going forward however.

Marchisio 5.0 Missed a glorious opportunity to win the game in inury time after a fairly anonymous second half. Showed sharp vision and good, early usage of the ball in the first.

Felipe Melo 6.0 Was bossed for the most part by Fernando and Diarra but managed to break away to have some efforts on goal.

Tiago 6.0 Lost his marker, crucially, for Bordeaux's goal but that belied an efficent display in the midfield, characterised by tidy contributions in the pass.

Giovinco 7.0 Always willing to take command of the ball and tried to prove himself with inventive passing. He will grow into this level but needs more game-time to find his range. Could do with brushing up on his set-pieces.

Iaquinta 8.5 The best player by a distance in white and black. Showed willing movement, tried to capitalise on any sniff of goal he was given and took his goal with aplomb. Led from the front.

Amauri 6.5 It took him a while to get going and even then he was limited to half chances. Should have scored with a second-half header.

I would give Giovinco a 6. Melo a 7. Iaquinta an 8. The rest seem to be fine.

mohd, no need to complain because of a DRAW. As for subs, well there we 2 forced ones. So not much room left for creativity from Ferrara.

HolyMann, I know dude. Shit like this will happen. Especially with Juve in Europe. Common, it's almost inevitable. I still think qualifying in 1st wouldn't be THAT difficult. As for Wolfsburg or United, well to be honest I don't know who I would prefer. No matter what they say United is a far cry from last season's team, while Wolfsburg just keeps on impressing (so I hear).
