It’s that we all see that the coach will ONLY call up Juventus if he can. Again, not a complaint. Just a fact of life. Everyone sees it. Check out the Corriere from today, they see it too.

This is getting more and more paranoid from Interistas. Also, more and more amusing. They think there’s some conspiracy for Juve. Funny, they bring up all these cases against Juve (doping? exonerated on all charges, bring up Calciopoli if you’d like) but of course all the Inter scandals of false registration of players and of the club, that’s all in the clear.

I just said that he got a call up as part of a recruitment drive.

What has that to do with the fact that Lippi won’t use Santon unless it’s a friendly? Or used out of position for 10 minutes?

Lippi also wouldn’t call up Santon if Molinaro was halfway decent – the Juve connection wouldn’t have to recruit him then. That’s not a complaint, its a fact that everyone knows. It’s not that Juventus players deserved to be called up, there are lots of suggestions for players that are from other clubs.

No. We’re proud of our players representing Italy but there is a massive difference between the two and we all recognize that. Club play is different from international, cup play v. league play, combining our foreign players, our tifosi, and a different coach. It’s a whole different game and no one thinks “because Juve is well represented in the Azzurri we will win the scudetto.” Troll away all you’d like.
