It Begins: Juventus Stagione 2008-2009
By: alessio | July 25th, 2008Here’s the fixtures schedule for Serie A. Of course, they may be a day off or two due to the Saturday TV scheduling. I plan on hyperlinking previews, liveblogs, and match reviews to this page so it’s a link-all to every match of the season, I’ll input the CL and Coppa games as they become known. That way at the end of the season you can easily review through the entire season….Channel4 is great but there’s no match-by-match archive on the site so hopefully this can be a useful resource.
Looking at the schedule, a bit of a tough start with Fiorentina away and Udinese at home, with Lazio, Siena, and Atalanta all towards the end of each segment. It looks oddly like last seasons with us, with the derbies evenly spaced out in the middle and the same teams toward the end. Not a rough schedule but not too easy. A fair one, we’ll say.

I realy hoped that the final match we played this year would be against Inter.
But this schedulr looks nice, our worst run is Samp, Palermo, Napoli, then Torino. But that too isnt that bad.

Can’t wait for the season to start. Verizon Fios just added a few temp channels for the Olympics so should be able to check out the Azzurrini while waiting for Serie A to kick off. Does anyone buy the SerieA.tv package, or know if anyone has enjoyed the service?

Calisi, I’ve used seriea.tv last season. I chose it cause it was the only service around and overall it was pretty good. The picture quality was very good for online but the commentating was horrible(FSC). However I do remeber a few games that didn’t work or got cut off because of “technical difficulties”, so I had to wait and watch the delayed game.
You have Verizon so I don’t think you need seriea.tv. I think you can watch them on espn360.com for free.

Anyone have a stream for the game?

Yeah I can watch them on espn360.com, but they don’t have all the games usually. Well, they cover all the games for the big clubs but sometimes I like watching other teams just for the sake of watching more football. Maybe I will see how much they cover this year, perhaps it will be more. Too bad they don’t have something with Italian commentary.

Adam, I think there is a feed for the game on here http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=15400&part=sports
The bottom links from mundofutbol are from justin.tv I think. Also the Italy U19 game looks to be streamed from there. Some of these feeds require programs to view, the only one I have used is Sopcast.
