I agree with papai. Poulson has shockingly improved over the last few games.seeing these comments is pretty bleak. Everyone seems to be ready to throw in the towel. Like I ve said before,we ll need to rid ourselves of tiago,molinaro, and zebina. My feelings are that we should stick to this formation until our injured players are back.then we should alternate according to the team we are facing. We should start integrating different players into these formations to see where everyone belongs.then alternate them so that they don t get injured.we ll need to invest in someone like kjaer so that chiellini can push forward a bit and someone like d’agostino who can give us more depth in the midfield and alternate with the midfielders like sissoko and melo. I said in the past that we needed strikers who can actually score but I was wrong,as we all know the formation was the problem. If we do something like this, I believe we will definitely improve our chances. Lastly, giovinco needs to start finishing.

And regarding our backline, they have been decent if not spectacular. The main problem is a sudden collective loss of concentration as soon as we take a lead.
I think the juve squad read too much about themselves in the papers. We need il capitano to bring order amidst the chaos, who will be able to guide a game to its finish.

To all those who have been calling for Poulsen’s head, i think he has shown improvement this season whenever he has been playing in an advanced role. The guy is not cut out to be a defensive midfielder, and can actually be of some use further ahead of the field in an offensive role, where it wont matter that much even if he loses the ball .
Tiago is just not technically equipped for serie A. We should get rid of him ASAP. I think the backup DM shuld have been PDC, or we could try out Ariaudo.

i completely agree with you Alessio, our injuries are killing us, Sissoko was incredible when he returned, we really need him and Marchisio back, and where the hell is Salihamidic? we can really use him as a back up….and for crying our loud, we have to get rid of Poulsen/Tiago in summer….they’re really killing us

The way Cannavaro has been playing this season, barring a game or two, has been world-class. The problem is the team, not just the defense, isn’t playing quite as a unit.

You really still consider Cannavaro a good defender? Chiellini is world-class, Grosso is pretty good, but that’s about it in my book.

I’m not defending the defense who played bleh today, but for me it was the midfield that was unable to do jack shit that really killed us. When Camo went out, Grygera was under a lot more pressure because Tiago didn’t do anything.

Omar that’s a stupid thing to say, it’s like others complaining that Lippi only wants Juventini and his team. Hackneyed and incorrect. Grosso and Cannavaro are good players, and they came for a total price of 3.5million euro. It has nothing to do with Lippi. Any other players we signed would have cost a shitload more and would have fucked up in games also.

Our defense is fine, the reason they got shredded yesterday was because our midfielders couldn’t hold onto the goddamn ball. Every Napoli attack just went straight through them. The whole team turned off as Buffon said. That doesn’t mean they suck, that means they are dumb.
