Excuse Me While I Go Puke In The Corner

By: roberto | September 27th, 2009

Oh good, he knows how to point.

How the f*ck can you drop two points in stoppage time? You continue to rely on half-retarded pylons (excluding Giorgio) to man your back line. What the hell is Legrottaglie still doing in the Serie A? I have no damn clue. In fact, what’s funny about it is, he doesn’t either I’m sure. I’m still f*cking fuming. Enter at your own risk, enough with the censoring already.

Jesus that was fucking brutal. It’s like someone just riped out my heart and replaced it with some shit wrapped in burning hair in the last dying seconds of this one. We were so damn close then again after a quickly taken kick, our opponents do some damage. Simply put, at times our defense is the biggest piece of shit in the league. They don’t know how to play soccer, i’m convinced. In addition there’s no fucking emotion from any of them (Chiellini plug your ears). It’s like they’ve all contracted a virus from Tiago rotting tampon from last season. No one shouldn’t be worried that only ”at times” our guys suck hard. There shouldn’t be any fucking “times” at all.

For me I see no above average ability whatsoever back there, and that’s stretching it. Absolutely no brains, just slow to react fouling bitches. I kind of saw myself saying I’d miss Cannavaro if injured throughout this season but not this much. Molinaro, Grygera, Legro, they all stink like piss soaked car seats that haven’t been aired out for over three months sitting in a New Delhi airport.

Why am I so pissed? Because we still haven’t learned our lesson after two+ years. We’re still giving teams like Bologna two-three-four beautiful scoring chances a game. I’m talking about one on ones with Buffon, I’m talking about Chiellini heading balls off of the goal line, I’m talking about absofuckinglutely wide open far post man to man coverage scoring chances. Molinaro and Nicola are both fucking asleep at the wheel. Oh yeah, bring on Bayern!

“I think that Bologna deserved the draw because they created a number of difficulties for us but even we had the opportunity of scoring a second”. Coach Ferrara said after the game. ”It is not a good result and we weren’t clever because we should have managed to bring the three points home”.

“We should have tried to make the opponents run , hitting back. This we did not manage to do and we gave them the chance to attack. We conceded a bit too much on inactive balls and this should never happen”.

The draw was not well received: “We took the draw badly. It bothers us because it was our intention to win even though it does not change much in the table. However, I think that in the team we have players who are capable of dealing with victories and even such false steps”.

“This is important since on Wednesday we have a very difficult match. Bayern lost this weekend and so did Chelsea and this might mean that the Champions League does have a certain effect”.

    oh forget to add

cannavaro: many of you hate him with all your guts, but do we need more proof our defence is not even half as solid then when he plays?

This will hopefully be the wakeup call we need, the draw with Genoa was acceptable cause Genoa are a solid side, but the slim wins vs likes of Livorno were not quite acceptable.

The players knew they had to lift their game but winning slimly doesn’t give the same effect as dropping points.

Fuck I am still so pissed off about this result!
Get molinaro and poulsen out of my sight.
Now I understand why no one bought them during the mercato! Who the fuck signed them in the first place?

I dont get the hate for leggro.. the guy is decent as a backup CB.

Ferrara made some tactical blunders in the game, the biggest of which was selecting Molinaro :x Marchisio should have been rested. Amauri should have been subbed at the break…

Only good thing is that Trez is scoring… Three goals already…

Man, that post made me feel like I was right at home on the Roma offside. I thought you guys mocked us for our bombastic recriminations about our defense. My heart goes out to you guys but still, it was only a draw, and hey, Samp deserves their day in the sun.

The draw had me fuming as well. But short turnaround before the big CL match and can’t dwell on it. I expect…or hope, to see a response from our players in Munich.

Goal.com posted an article about what was wrong with each team. Now we all know Goal.com is rubbish, but they are right on this one. With Inter it is their midfield, which is probably right especially post-injury Cambiasso right now, and for us they said a lack of depth, which I agree with. Especially in midfield.

Thanks for the thoughts guys, unfortunately no luck on the car. At least the Saints won!

Nedved visited the group to say hi and good luck against Bayern, Tuttosport says also to discuss a coaching role. The directors offered him one and said he’d always have it available, he declined in May and June, but maybe he misses calcio already.

The comentator of ESPN Brasil said something I deeply agree. Once Giovinco got into the field, our defence was worse. Reason: Diego comes back to help and holds the ball at the midfield, until his mates go further so he passes the ball. Gio gets the ball and runs to the end of the pitch.
Marchisio HAD to play, there was no one offensive enough to replace him. Please do not say PDC. Not on Marchisio’s spot, for that matter.

Roma buying Molinaro would be a dream come true. Only better if Inter made the move ^^.

ps: sorry about the car alessio.

Dudes, Molinaro is a disaster, really. As is Legrottaglie, never have been a fan of the player Legro. Aside of that, also his bullshit about God every time starts to bore me.

Really I said it before; throw in Caceres and make him used to the Italian way of defending, cause we’ll need him there. Even Ariaudo I would prefer above Legro, that boy has a golden future.
And for fuck’s sake if Grosso is out, put in De Ceglie…

Daniel, I only agree partly on that one. Look at the goal, and look where Giovinco is positioned. Wouldn’t have been avoided if Diego was on the pitch.

What will make our team stronger in defense, well in my opinion, is the return of Sissoko. His return also gives us room to play a different formation and he will make sure Marchisio gets his well deserved rest now and then. With him in the squad we have 2 buffers in front of defence and we can play 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 etc, etc…

Looks pretty certain that Melo won’t lose his spot, so I’m not sure how Ferrara will or should use Sissoko. Why don’t you make a little post on that, Alessio or Roberto. Like the Giovinco discussion we had a while ago? At least, I’d like to see some of your ideas on this one.

Dodgy defenders? Wonder what’s taking so long for those at the helm to recognise this! Still, my focus of the argument would rather be at the ambitions and intentions of the regime, coaching staff and players. Look at the reactions after the Bordeaux draw. The focus was more on the goal conceded. The defenders are more under the microscope and not so much about the wastefulness in front of goals, lack of determined runs from the midfield: God I so miss Pavel Nedved!!! Until the mindset of how the club’s performances are judged shifts to how efficiently we can wrap up games, even the best defenders are going to feel the sometimes unwarranted pressures. I can only pray we get the best out of Del Piero or Diego at crucial chunks of the season. Forza Juve

    “At least the Saints won!”

    The Saints in what sport?

    The team is as follows:
    1 Buffon
    2 Caceres
    3 Chiellini
    4 Felipe Melo
    6 Grosso
    7 Salihamidzic
    8 Marchisio
    9 Iaquinta
    10 Del Piero
    11 Amauri
    12 Chimenti
    13 Manninger
    15 Zebina
    16 Camoranesi
    17 Trezeguet
    18 Poulsen
    19 Molinaro
    20 Giovinco
    21 Grygera
    28 Diego
    29 De Ceglie
    30 Tiago
    33 Legrottaglie

No Cannavaro yet :( and still no Sissoko.

Seriously – this blog is way too childish. Your posts way too often look like this, and they never contain any interesting points of view, never any deep analyzes, never any smart texts of games.

Have you guys ever played football yourselves? Have you watched more than 10 games? You seem to totally lack all kinds of analyzing skills, you don’t seem to be able to read the game and you certainly can’t write about football in an interesting way. All you do in this blog is write that “you’re pissed off” and similar childish stuff. You come with nothing of your own at all. This blog goes under the category of ’stating the obvious’. It’s not very impressing.

It’s a miracle it’s got so many readers.
