Camoranesi Extends My Desire To Wed Him.

By: roberto | September 18th, 2008

Wanna know why Camoranesi always picks up little knocks every now and then? It’s because he plays his ass off on both ends of the field. That’s something called total commitment. So today, upon hearing he signed a contract extending his stay ’til 2011, I felt really weird in special places. Now that’s something called restraining order material.

If you’ve been around the Juventus Offside for a while, then you must know by now just how much Alessio and I go on and on about our love for the guy. Albeit mine extends a little bit further than Alessio’s heterosexuality is willing to go… we both agree that he is one of the most (if not the most) important elements to Juventus’ chances of winning anything, period. So here’s to looking forward to two more years of inappropriate and creepy celebratory posts of the guy! Salute Mauro!

Mauro got a lot of grit. It’s a shame he was booed by fans not long ago. Forza Mauro

Here’s the latest injury report, Sofia.
Trez- As many have said, he’s going to have an operation. 2-3 months out, most likely. He had a very similar one done in 2005 that kept him out for that much. Let’s hope he can get back as soon as possible. If we hadn’t gotten Amauri, we’d be like Roma right now, desperately fielding young and unproven players out of position. As it is, we can insert Amauri or Iaquinta and do about the same.
Camo- Suffered a strong “contusion” in the game, basically a really bad bruise. Juventus.com doesn’t expect him to be healthy for this weekend, but it’s nothing serious.
ADP- Slight knock to the ankle, he could recover by Sunday.

Juve Bob, I know what you mean sometimes he’s too aggressive, but I’ll take it. It shows two things, #1- He’s passionate about Juventus, and #2- he defenders. Wingers are notorious for not tracking back and helping out in defense, and that’s a very underrated part of Camo+Nedved. Both help out back immensely.

What do you guys think our formation should be against Cagliari? They are weak and damaged right now, but there’s always the chance of them aggressively fighting back and we can’t count them out. As I said, Trez is out. Zanetti, Zebina, Chiellini (minor knee sprain), and Camo are fighting to be fit. ADP should be ok.

I say Nedved, Grygera, and Poulsen should be rested, both have played a ton in the last few matches. One of the best parts of Brazzo is if Marchionni/DeCeglie/Giovinco need to be subbed, we can take someone else out and put him in their position.

    Buffon
    Salihamidzic Legrottaglie Mellberg De Ceglie
    Marchionni Sissoko Marchisio Giovinco
    Amauri-Iaquinta

Bench: Manninger, ADP, Molinaro, Zebina, Tiago

Ben, you’ve said that before. We’re not going to lose him, anymore than Aquilani was ever coming to Juve. Giovinco is bianconero al cuore.

Seeing as coming from Italia, i have always loved watching the Serie A. Juve has definatly been the best and Camo, Piero, Gigi, have been the best players on Juve since they have been here in my opinion. Forza Juve Italia
