Honestly I didn't enjoy seeing Caceres in the centre. As soon as Canna was subbed off for Zebina and Caceres moved to the centre Bordeuax had one of their biggest chances. That would have been a goal had it not been for Buffon. And I have to say Caceres was to blame for that.
I find him better suited as a full back, his crosses are definitely better than Grygera's and he seems determined enough to be a hard worker. I hope we buy him outright.

I think Moggi is absolutely right when he says we will not be having European succes this year, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try and at least do better than last year, let's say quarter finals.

I think our team is bigger compared to last year, but we still don't have the depth of inter; and especially in our midfield this shows. We can't bench Melo or we're in trouble, Diego out the same. Marchisio is already indispensable and I'm not even talking about defence where Chiellini and Cannavaro are the only two players of that level...

That's why I think we still need quite a few changes before we can truly live up to our reputation. Poulsen had really got to go, and Tiago can follow him if you ask me, he's better, but nothing more than average. We need 2 D'Agostino-like players instead siding Melo. We need a world class striker and a gifted right back so that we can put Caceres in the centre, where he belongs.
And for fuck sake, plz bring Criscito back as well, that guy is a gift from heaven.

But then again, I really think we can go and will go all the way in the championship. With Diego we have someone who can really make a difference when the team is dominant and I don't think we will spoil many unnecessary points in the league, since our defence has also grown and Buffon is in Superman shape. All we have to get is put down the same determination we did for about three weeks now, and be a bit lucky on injuries of course.

Btw, I don't know about you guys, but I'm really curious to see what Sissoko can mean for this team. I think he can put our recuperation on a higher level and if Ferrara gets it in his head to just easily deliver the ball to Giovinco/Diego, we will be golden.
