Even though I'm about as crazy of a Juve fan as one can be, this was fucking terrible. I don't care if Gigi, Momo, Diego who are all going to be starters during the season didn't play. Although it is STILL early August, Juve was very "plain", slow, unfit and creativity was an absolute 0. Tiago a.k.a "the rejuvenated player in the 3 man mid" needs to start at least trying to dictate some tempo and give some decent passes or else his ass should get shipped out in January ASAP. Marchisio and Seba still need to grow and adapt and are still quite inconsistent. It's annoying to think about how we've scored 3 goals in the last 3 matches and they have ALL been through Set Pieces. Juve misses Momo's presence on the field way too much. Now I know why on the Barca Offside everyone idolizes "The Yaya". He's vital to them, just like Momo is to us and I'm gonna go ahead and say it: if he doesn't remain healthy this season, Scudetto will have to wait at least another year. P.S: I'm kinda glad we got schooled by Villareal. I was getting sick of the whole media attention about Juve's every detail, and weather we are "finally at Inter's level". I'd rather have a team begin the season as underdogs and be willing to fight to prove the world wrong, rather than say that Juve has built a great team and end up fucking up like the end of last season.
