Preview: Juventus v. Udinese
By: roberto |Sunday sees Udine’s depleted squad come to town for what Juventus fans can only hope will be an epic display of ruthlessness and unreserved determination against them. Truth be told, I can’t remember the last time any team was this absent of their attacking threats. So although I look forward to a beat down this [...]
Atalanta – Juventus: “I’ll trade you my Ciro for your Conte, maybe…”
By: roberto |Juventus – Livorno
By: roberto |Livorno this weekend at home. Last week they hosted Milan at the Stadio Armando Picchi in Livorno, and a few things come to mind after having watched it. First off, Lucarelli canbe a pain in the ass. That evening in Livorno the 33 year old didn’t disappoint his hometown fans. So he didn’t score and the game [...]
Juventus-Bordeaux, and the Giovinco Question
By: alessio |The Champion’s League is back, and what a cracker of a group we have in Group A. French champions Bordeaux, German giants Bayern Munich, and a plucky Israeli side, Maccabi Haifa. First game is at home, against Bordeaux. Full preview after the jump.
The Bianconeri return to Rome

I love Brazil

Juventus-Roma, aka, the Campionato has truly started
By: alessio |That ugly game against Chievo aside, of course. After the distraction of the Champion’s League draw, it’s back to work in Giornata 2 where our beloved Bianconeri travel to Rome to face not-Lazio. This is definitely a hard match to start out the 2nd week, particularly with a new coach and a new formation, but [...]

By: roberto |At the end of the Sunday session, Ferrara announced the list of players called-up for the Trofeo Berlusconi which will see the inclusion of Marchisio, Trezeguet and Zebina who returned to working with the group. Diego is also included after having had a good training session and playing the mini-match as joker.
Updates: Juventus v Real Madrid
By: roberto |Sometime during Thursday’s fine-tuning session, Diego suffered a pain in his right thigh and will rested for the next 48 hours as a precaution. Unfortunately that means he’ll be unavailable for the Coppa di Pace semi-finals against Real Madrid later today.
Player Ratings: Juventus Season 2008-2009
By: alessio |As part of the first portion of a seasonal review (hurrah unemployment) I’ve decided to, like last year, do a rating for every player who took part this season. Ratings, are of course opinionated by nature, but that’s probably why we like them so much, as fans of Calcio, so we can debate and argue. [...]
