Juventus v. Serie A: Can we still win the scudetto?
By: alessio |For those living under a rock, last weekend Juventus blew the Scudetto race wide-open with a beautiful 2-1 win over archrivals Inter. If anything, 2-1 flattered Inter….Del Boy was in phenomenal form but just wasn’t finishing well. The question now is….is the Scudetto race down to Inter v. Roma, or does Juve have a chance?
An addition to the Juventus Offside…
By: alessio |Hi all,
I’m Alessio and I’ve joined with Roberto to write for the Juventus Offside’s page. My real name is Aaron, Alessio is a tribute to my favorite player of all time (take a wild guess) so you all have probably seen me post around for quite a while, I’m kind of all over the Italy [...]
Juventus v. Parma: Oh Canada!
By: roberto |Following a steady week of drinking, smoking, lounging, and the occasional meet and greet with your comrades behind that shady school parking lot where the envitable soccer ball is brought out for an impromptu 3 on 3 match, it’s time for our bianconeri to get back to business. This Sunday Parma comes to town in [...]
Ranieri v. Mancini: Coach’s Couch – Derby d’Italia Edition
By: roberto |Offsiders listen up: I’d like to introduce to you my brand new segment called “Coach’s Couch”. Palm Sunday Victory & Wednesday Night Ashes Before Saturday’s Derby d’Italia Clashes
By: roberto |An 87th minute strike from Vincenzo Iaquinta gave Juventus the victory against Napoli by way of a heavenly first-touch. My goodness I’m obsessed with first-touches now more then ever. Can someone tell me if there’s anything more fundamentally important to playing the beautiful game than a good first-touch? Nedved certainly can’t. Whether you value a player [...]

Ranieri vs. Secco: Who Should Stay, Who Should Go?
By: roberto |Buffon couldn’t have said it any better. ‘We are playing like shit all over the park’. Sure that’s not a direct quote, but after watching last Sunday’s performance you’d more then get the sense that he was on to something. But before we go any further, let’s get one thing straight. I love and respect [...]
Oldie But A Goodie… Juventus 8 – Fiorentina 0
By: roberto |Like Fiorentina-Tim mentioned, Juventus-Viola is a special fixture indeed. It’s a love-hate relationship, and yes it’s very complicated. You see, the Bianconeri have in past, taken Fiorentina out for several seafood dinners and never called her back, much to the dismay of Firenze cab drivers. Forget about us signing Roberto Baggio from you, by evidence [...]
